Just made a really nice Mediterranean Olive bread, added fresh rosemary to it and it smells great...can't wait to dig into it tonight. It weighs about 1 pound 9oz., nice big loaf, no pricing yet.
Keep me in mind for Thanksgiving, I think the knotted yeast rolls I make will go great with turkey and gravy, maybe mashed potatoes.
I'm selling them at an intro price now at $5.99 dozen, $3.59 half doz.
Baguettes intro price: $2.79 (can also make these 50/50 wheat, thinking maybe of organics soon and determining prices for those.) Let's talk, I'm sure we can work something out.
I could meet with you the day before Thanksgiving if needed...any earlier I would suggest freezing the bread.
Fresh breads are for the locals, but those out-of-state I can ship my fresh Italian biscotti cookies. I'm tellin' ya, these taste great and are not the hard teeth-breakers you find in the store or at some coffee shops. Haven't checked yet on shipping costs yet because of my current bread focus, but I'll keep ya posted. They'd make a great gift/holiday item...shoot, my son and I just eat them as snacks, too...of course I like them with coffee, tea, and crumbled on ice cream... dee-ee-licious!!!
God bless you all with an awesome day...good things are rising!
Love, Karl

okay, let me write to myself..."hey Carlini, wasamatta wid you!..you forgot the yeast in the rolls today, they're looking puny!"
ReplyDeleteYep, I actually did this today, got distracted while talking serious stuff on the phone.
...but hey, the best unleavened bread I ever tasted!
