First biscotti mailing a success!

So, I finally sent my first biscotti (test box) in the mail to a friend...all the way to Michigan. My understanding is that they arrived fine, were enjoyed, and delicious!(almond-chocolate-coconut)
Hopefully this is one of many to be sent in the near future for people to enjoy around the country.

Also just found out that there will be another bake sale at our church this coming weekend (supporting prison ministry). Hmm, what shall I bake? I'm thinking this time of making more biscotti with maybe packets of tea in some of the bags. The olive bread seems to be a hit...as well as the Latvian piragis that I've made twice...see people munching on those before the service. Those are a lot of work and if I make them I definitely need to gauge the time better. I've gotten very few hours of sleep generally on those nights before the sale.

Just pulled a few of these comments from my Facebook:
Linda C.: I'm watching the mailbox CLOSELY !!!!

Cheryl T.: Hey Karl. Never officially met you but I am sitting in my home eating your bread. It is very good. I will be the first to visit your bakery. You may be wondering how your bread got to my house....

Cheryl T.: Just checked out your blog. Great! Will be sharing it with our daughter.

Karl: Glad you're enjoying the bread and the blog, that's great...thanks.

  2. Glad that you enjoyed the biscotti...thanks for the comment/testimonial.

I'm just now looking into how to best ship biscotti, the bread I can usually deliver locally in the Conyers and Covington Georgia areas, may possibly be a delivery charge until I can establish a possible route, which might be cool. I am also usually at Church in the Now on Sundays in Conyers and can meet someone there before or after service...usually about 10:15-10:30 or 1:30 - 2.
